Bring the kids, invite a friend, and enjoy lunch on us while meeting other local families. Reconnect with familiar faces, make new friends, and learn about the free breastfeeding support available in our community.
This special event launches Breastfeeding in the Neighborhood, a project made possible through a Friends of La Leche League grant. After the picnic copies of the newly updated The Art of Breastfeeding will be placed into Free Little Libraries throughout Washington County, making trusted breastfeeding information easier for families to find.
Families, expecting parents, healthcare professionals, physicians, nurses, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and anyone who supports breastfeeding families are welcome.

Admission is free. Registration is requested by August 5th so we can plan food and activities.
